Julie is my second client bride that was based overseas. I met Julie through her mom Tita Pilar, who is one of the most valued customer in our shop Kristille Boutique. Before she took off to Singapore, we had one meeting to discuss about the design of the wedding and the rest was finalized through email exchange and Skype meeting (video conference call).

She wanted a modern elegance themed wedding and reception and specifically requested for crystals and lanterns to be incorporated in the designs of both the church and the reception.

Photos from the reception:

She wanted specific decorations like a modern tree and a swing which will welcome guests at the reception that got me really excited to design the reception. I added the wishing tree to complement the framed photos of the couple and the bride's vision of modern elegance.

This wedding is one of the most unforgettable ones that I have experienced because prior to the wedding, Manila and Laguna were drenched with heavy rains for a number of consecutive days, causing floods in important areas. Who would have thought that Southwoods, SLEX and Magallanes would be so flooded and not passable? Imagine my horror if I cannot go to my suppliers in Manila to get my pre-ordered requests and flowers for the wedding. I was on my toes and had literally sleepless nights as if I was the bride, worrying about the wedding. But God was so good and He knew how much it means to me to make my client's wedding beautiful that He graciously gave me good weather the night I was scheduled to go to my supplier. We were able to make the scheduled trip with no hassle and it was truly a blessing.

Dear Julie and Harold,

Congratulations!

Cheers!

~Ap
